All our facilities are light, airy and convenient to access from wherever you are staying in the park. Each facility area is regularly visited by our staff to ensure they are tidy and clean throughout your stay with us.

At Whanganui Seaside Holiday Park we have an excellent range of services to make your stay here as safe, welcoming, and enjoyable as possible.

Mountains to Sea Cycle Trail: Did you know that we are the closest accommodation provider to the finish of the Mountains to Sea Cycle Trail? The North Mole (where the trail officially finishes) is only 2 kms away from our Holiday Park. We have safe bike storage and bike wash facilities.

Pop in and see our friendly staff about our gift vouchers – enabling your friend or family member to experience what Whanganui Seaside Holiday Park  has to offer. The gift voucher can allow them to stay in any type of accommodation they want up to your desired value, or have a reduction on a current booking.

Outdoor Swimming Pool and Private Sauna

Our park is the perfect place to visit and relax, with our outdoor saltwater pool and private sauna.

Free Showers with Ample Hot Water

At Whanganui Seaside Holiday Park we have a well lit shower/toilet block, which is cleaned regularly.

The shower block offers 4 showers in both the Mens and Womens, power points, large mirrors, basins and ample bench space. Showers are free, with an ample supply of hot water for all.

Our shower/toilet block got fully renovated in August 2020.

Laundry

Laundry facilities are available next to the main Shower and Toilet complex. Currently there are 2 commercial-size washing machines and 2 commercial dryers.

Grounds & BBQ Areas

Whanganui Seaside Holiday Park is set in beautiful park like grounds, adjacent to the (swimming) beach. A light, refreshing holiday atmosphere encourages a great time for all, whether sitting around the barbecue with friends and family, or with the children swimming in the pool on site, or at the beach!

We have a BBQ complex complete with a large Outdoor Fireplace. All under cover! Sit back, rain, hail or shine and completely relax while the kids toast their marshmallows!

Well Equipped Kitchen

Whanganui Seaside Holiday Park has a spacious, clean and well-equipped kitchen for your convenience. The Kitchen is located in the centre of the Holiday Park, and is easily accessed from all areas of the Park.

Dining Area

Adjacent to the main kitchen is a spacious dining room with tables to seat 10-20 for dining. A beautiful courtyard area is easily accessed from the dining room, complete with free gas barbecue, an Outdoor Kitchen, Open-Air Fireplace and Picnic Tables available for your use. High chairs are also available for the young ones – please ask for them at the main office.

Television Lounge

Our lounge has a television (FreeView channels) for use by guests. It has numerous couches and chairs to recline in while enjoying viewing. There is also a small Book Exchange Library.
