Reservation Policy
Rates and conditions are subject to change at any time and without notice. Minimum stay periods can apply during peak times.
Deposits (minimum of one night’s stay) are payable, by either bank transfer or credit card (3% Â surcharge). Reservations are only confirmed upon receipt of deposit. The balance of the reservation is payable in full on arrival. There’s no refund for early departure.
Reservations are a contract between Whanganui Seaside Holiday Park and the person named on the reservation and are not transferable to any other person. The named person must occupy the site or unit for the duration of the contract and is ultimately the responsible for all occupants and visitors of that site or unit. Management will charge additional costs for damages and/or additional cleaning required to Whanganui Seaside Holiday Parks property. Any breach in the Holiday Park rules will result in cancellation of tenancy, and NO refund will be given.
Sites & Units are allotted at the discretion of management who reserve the right to alter if necessary or cancel tenancy at any time.
Arrival time: after 2pm
Departure time: by 10am
No early check-ins or late check-outs are permitted at peak times.
Children are persons 1-16 years inclusive. Infants are classed as under 1 year of age and are free of charge. All persons 17 years or over are adults.
Pet Policy
We value our 4-legged family members, so we welcome well-behaved pets with well-behaved owners staying in their own caravan, motorhome or tent in our camping sites. Please see our simple rules below:
- Unfortunately we are unable to permit guests who have any roofed accommodation included in their booking to bring pets into the holiday park if they have not made secure sleeping arrangements for their animals (dog boxes, vehicles, crates etc) outside of their booked unit.
- Guests with bookings for roofed accommodation who arrive with pets undisclosed to us may not be permitted into the park and will not receive a refund.
- Day visitors of overnight guests are not permitted to bring any pets into the park at any time.
- Guests staying with pets maybe asked to provide credit cards details as security and will be asked to agree to our Pets Policy on arrival.
- For the comfort and safety of all our guests, anyone found to be breaking any of our Pet Policy Rules will be asked to leave immediately without a refund and may be charged a fine.
Payment Policy

Credit Card Policy: All credit card information obtained by Whanganui Seaside Holiday Park is held by iBex Vault who provide a PCI DSS compliant gateway and are not stored in any hard or digital file by us. Credit card payments are subject to a 3% surcharge.
The name that will appear on your statement is Whanganui Holiday.
Privacy Policy: All information received by Whanganui Seaside Holiday Park is retained by us and will not be passed on to any third parties.
Currency: The currency within this website is all stated in NZD and includes GST
Cancellation Policy
Please note during December January and February there is no refunds on cancellations. No refund for early departures. Amendments to bookings may be made at Management’s discretion (administration fee may apply).
If an amendment results in the shortening of the stay or a reduction in guest numbers, it will be treated as a cancellation (and may result in a loss of funds). Group booking cancellations within 30 days of arrival will result in a loss of all deposit paid.
Cancellation outside of 30 days of arrival will incur a cancellation fee. A group booking is a booking with 2 or more units/sites, or 10 or more people.
Amendments to bookings may be made at Management’s discretion (an administration fee may apply). If an amendment results in the shortening of the stay or a reduction in guest numbers, it will be treated as a cancellation (and may result in a loss of funds)
